Cookies
What this site stores in your browser, and the choices you have. Last updated 15 October 2026.
Analytics is your choice.
PostHog analytics starts automatically when you visit this website, without a consent banner, unless you previously turned it off. It uses a browser identifier and session information to help Butler & AI understand visits, clicks and successful enquiries. If session recording is enabled, input values and page text are masked. There are no advertising or social-media tracking cookies.
PostHog may store its anonymous browser identifier in cookies and local storage. Use “Turn off analytics” in the footer to stop new analytics capture and recording, or “Turn on analytics” to resume. Your choice is saved in local storage as lytics-consent-butler-and-ai. Previously saved opt-outs remain respected.
A note in your browser tab.
It is not a cookie, but it works in a similar way, so it is listed here. The site keeps a short note in your browser's session storage with the page you landed on, where you came from, the last few pages you opened and choices you made. It is used to tell which page led to an enquiry. It is cleared when you close the tab and is never sent anywhere except in the small click notes and the enquiry form, both described on the privacy page.
